The Model Railway Tent is a mix of large and small gauge model railways.
Ranging from Gauge 1 to N gauge, and Model Engineering in larger scales.
Gauge 1, although more at home running on garden railways can be seen to advantage on the portable exhibition track which is exhibited by the Gauge One Model Railway Association.
Southport Model Engineering Club have a stand showing off their beautiful models which can be seen running at their permanent home on Victoria Park, where they also have a gauge 1 track.
Windmill Farm Railway is represented by lovely models from Austin Moss and Southport Model Railway Club is also represented.
A passenger carrying railway is in operation by Southport Model Engineering Club, where for a small fee children can have a ride behind a steam train
There will be the usual displays and society stalls with meccano models etc.
